Part 3 of my beauty series of finding products in Portugal. This one took me a while to put out because makeup is my passion. I have a ton of it. This list only scratches the surface but they are my Holy Grail products. Some I have been using for a long time and I got lucky that I can find them here, and some are replacements for what I used to use. The makeup will be grouped by category to make it easier to find what you like and hopefully you find a product you love! Both Amazon U.S. and Amazon Spain links are listed when available.

Primers:

Primers are an important part of makeup because they prep your skin. They make your skin look smoother and help the makeup stick so it lasts longer. These are my favorites:

Wet n’ Wild Impossible Primer– I love this primer. It smoothes and hydrates your skin and leaves it with a flawless, matte finish and its silicone free. Its also super affordable! US link here

NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Plump Right Back Plumping Serum & Primer, With Hyaluronic Acid– This is a great gripping primer. Its a good dupe for the Milk Hydrogrip primer. It plumps and moisturizes your skin while gripping your makeup for extra hold. US link here

Wet n’ Wild Photofocus Eyeshadow Primer– Eyeshadow primers help your eyeshadow not only stay on, they prevent creasing and also make the colors more vibrant. This is a great one and its affordable. US link here

NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Glitter Primer, Long-Lasting Glitter Hold- This is amazing to hold glitter or shimmers. I do my base eyeshadow and then dab a little on where I am going to add my sparkle. Its a stickier texture so the glitter wont move. It’s a must have if you use shimmer or glitters in your makeup looks. US link here

Face Products:

All the face stuff!

L’Oréal Paris Infallible 24 Hour Fresh Wear Foundation– This is hands down my favorite drugstore foundation. It looks beautiful, doesn’t feel heavy but has great, full coverage, and lasts all day. I actually brought a few extra in case I couldn’t find it here but I am so happy that I can. They also have a pretty large shade range. US link here.

Wet n Wild Photo Focus Matte Liquid Foundation– This is another great foundation and its affordable. I love Wet’n Wild products because they perform well and are really affordable and easy to find. The downside of this one is that some people don’t like the smell. I don’t mind it though. But it leaves a nice matte finish. US link.

Wet n Wild Photo Focus Dewy Liquid Foundation Makeup– the same as above but in a dewy finish. I have both. US link

Wet n Wild Bare Focus Tinted Hydrator– I love this for when I don’t want a full face of makeup but still want to even out my skin and make it look nice. Its light coverage and feels super lightweight and comfortable. US link here

Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define Concealer- This is a great, affordable concealer. It has full coverage and a little goes a long way. US link here

Wet n Wild MegaGlo Makeup Stick Conceal and Contour– This is a great cream contour stick. It blends out really well. US link

Wet n Wild MegaGlo Contour Palette- a good powder contour and brightening powder palette. The powders sit and blend well. And of course, its affordable. US link here

Wet n Wild MegaGlo Highlighting Powder– I love the MegaGlo highlighters. They are soft and leave such a pretty finish. I have multiple colors in them. US Link

Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer– Pretty sure this is the best selling bronzer available. Its super soft and leaves a beautiful glow. It also smells amazing. US link

Maybelline Fit Me Powder Blush– This is a nice blush that gives a perfect flush of color. US link

NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Can’t Stop Won’t Stop Loose Setting Powder– This is a nice, soft setting powder that leaves a matte finish and sets your makeup nicely while absorbing oil. US link

NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Makeup Setting Spray – Matte Finish- A makeup setting spray is the last step of your makeup and it will help keep your look lasting all day, up to 16 hours. This will leave a matte finish. There are also a few other types, like a dewey one but I prefer matte usually. US link here

Skindinavia The Makeup Oil Control Finishing Spray– This is my absolute favorite setting spray but its not available on Amazon Spain. Skindinavia makes the Urban Decay All-Nighter spray, so its literally the exact same thing without the Urban Decay mark-up. This is a big, 8oz bottle that will last for a long time. I actually brought 2 with me and I am probably going to have whoever visits next bring me another.

Eye Makeup:

Eye makeup is my favorite. I love to play around with eye makeup because in my opinion it’s the most fun and its where I can be more creative. I also love doing a sexy smokey eye. Lately though, in Portugal, I do a more natural, every day type of look. But no matter what I do, eyes are always my favorite makeup to do. These are some of my favorite eye products. I cut it down to the most useful and best, because if I added all my eye makeup, it would be multi-book series 😂

Wet n Wild Color Icon 5-Pan Palette– I’ll start with a simple, perfect little eyeshadow palette. There are a few different options for these but they are all good. These are perfect for an everyday look or you can do a great smokey eye with it. Don’t let the low price fool you, these shadows blend beautifully and have great pigmentation. It’s also small so its great to travel with. US link

NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Ultimate Shadow Palette– NYX makes great makeup too, I have a ton of their products. They are moderately priced but always offer great performance. This palette comes in a lot of varieties. The pigment is beautiful and they blend well. The bright one is great when you want to play with color. US link

NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Epic Ink Liner, Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner– I love marker eyeliners. This one dries matte, which I prefer and wont move. Its easy to apply and lasts all day. Its perfect to do a sharp cat eye! US link

Inglot Duraline– This product is amazing. It is a mixing medium with multiple uses. Its great to turn any eyeshadow in to a waterproof eyeliner. It is also great to add a drop to a gel eyeliner that has started to dry out. Its more expensive in Portugal than in the US but I am glad I can get it. Its well worth the price difference. One small bottle will last a really long time because you only need 1-2 drops. US link.

Wet n Wild Color Icon Kohl Eyeliner Pencil– If you prefer a pencil eyeliner, this is a great one. I like pencils to smoke out the bottom lash line. US link

Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect Mascara– This is one of the best mascaras ever created and its super affordable. Essence products tend to be hit or miss, but I love their mascaras and this one is by far the best. US link

Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High Mascara– This is another of my favorite mascaras. My lashes look insanely long when I wear this. I love it. It also comes in a waterproof version. US link

NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Lift & Snatch Eyebrow Tint Pen– This pen has a super sharp point to help fill in spots on your brows that look natural. US link

Anastasia Beverly Hills – Brow Definer- This eyebrow pencil has an angled tip to help define brows. It also has a spooly on the other end to brush your brows in to place. US link

ESSENCE Make Me Brow– I like this brow gel because it has little fibers that cling to your brow hairs to make them fuller. It also helps hold them in place. US link

Lips:

Lips complete the look!

Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick– This is the best liquid lipstick ever! This will not move and it comes in so many colors. I actually have to remove it with oil at the end of the day. I have it in multiple colors including black and the Ruby Red which is the perfect red. US link

NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Shine Loud, Long-Lasting Liquid Lipstick with Clear Lip Gloss– If you want a glossy lipstick that will last, this is a great one. It was created during the pandemic so that it wouldnt transfer to masks. It comes in a bunch of colors too. US link

Tools:

The right tools help you get the most out of your makeup. There are so many options, just like with makeup and everyone has their own preferences about what tools work best for them but these are some of my favorites.

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge- This is a great sponge. It leaves an even complexion when used with foundation and can also be used to blend out any other cream products. You can also use it with powder to set. Use wet for best results. US link

Powder Puffs– I like to use these with setting powder to press it in to the face. The corner of it makes it easy to get in to the corner of your under eye and the edges are great for lines if you bake your contour. US link

Real Techniques Everyday Eye Essentials Makeup Brush Kit– This set has all the brushes you need to do great eye makeup. They are good quality and blend well. US link

Real Techniques The Wanderer Makeup Brush Kit– This is a nice set that has both face and eye brushes. It also all comes in a pouch to keep them clean. US link

Wow that was a long list! I think I covered everything! I love makeup so this was hard to pair down to a few items for each category. A lot of what I buy is drugstore makeup. I do have some high end items from Sephora and Ulta but I prefer drugstore. The quality of drugstore brands has gotten so much better over the last decade or so, so why not save some money. If you have any questions about anything listed or want recommendations for any other products, feel free to ask. Again, I will receive a small commision from any of the links. Thanks for reading, I hope you find products you like or want to try. And don’t be afraid to experiment with makeup, it’s fun and it washes off!
