If you read my last few posts about our move to our new place, you know that we had a lot left behind from the sellers but there were still some things we needed to buy, whether it was to replace something they left that we didn’t like or random stuff that we needed. Here is a list of all that along with a few other things I have bought and loved.
House Stuff
Bruguer Massa de fendas profundas branco– To fill in the holes in the walls
Non-Slip Furniture Pads– Our floors are tile and laminate so everything slides. These have been helpful
This super cool floor lamp– it has an app that controls it. There are so many different color combinations and you can even make is sync to music. Its really cool and I am obsessed with it.
5 Piece Bar Table and Chairs – the table they left in the kitchen was too big for the space and kind of ugly. I found this set and I like it so much more. It doesn’t take up as much space and has a more modern look to it
Artificial Grass- We got Bodhi this little mat for the patio for when I am too lazy to take him out.
20-Step Shower Filters- These are replacements for our shower filter. If you don’t already use one, you should. It makes a huge difference for your skin and hair
YOLEO Parallel Bars– We now have a little more space to get some more gym equipment.
This adjustable desk goes up and down with a switch.
Electric Lighter– this is so much easier to light the stove with!
WiFi Repeater– houses in Portugal are made from concrete. Wi-Fi doesn’t go through walls very well here so even though our apartment isn’t very large, we still had trouble getting service in all the rooms. This helps.
LED Wake Up Light Alarm Clock– We have electric shutters which make the room pitch black. Its great for sleeping but waking up is hard. This really looks like sunlight and I have a much easier time waking up with it.
Paring Knives– You can never have too many.
Shoe Organizer– I may still have too many pairs of shoes. These organizers hold a bunch and slide right under the bed.
Shoe Rack- this goes by the front door and holds a lot of pairs which is great because I always wear a different pair
Instant Read Kitchen Thermometer– i like that this has a magnet to stick on the stove so I never lose it
10 Pack anti-humidity bags -these go in every closet. The humidity here is insane
This pastry blender for pies. I realized I must have gotten rid of mine when we moved
Other Random Stuff
IPL Pulse Light Epilator- I am obsessed with this! I had gotten laser hair removal years ago and it was expensive. This is a fraction of the price and I can do my whole body with it. I love not having to shave anymore!
Pilates Bar– This has leveled up my pilates workouts. I was out of the gym for 4 months due to a shoulder injury but doing pilates every day and adding this kept me from gaining any weight.
Samsung Galaxy Book3- I got this laptop when my last one died on me. I have bad luck with electronics. I love it. It connects with my S23 Ultra and is sleek and lightweight.
Creatine– creatine is super helpful and beneficial, especially if you workout
BerkeMed Digital thermometer– Our last thermometer died when it fell on the tile floor
Mens Shaver and accessories– The shaver my husband brought from the US finally died. This was a low cost replacement that works great.
Elemental Magnesium Complex– Magnesium is a super important mineral and most people are deficient in it. I take this every night before bed.
Amfit Nutrition Whey Protein– this tastes really good
HaloLock Magnetic Ring Holder- I needed a new ring holder for my phone. I was hesitant about the magsafe ones because I am terrified of dropping my phone but its actually really secure
SYNCWIRE Magnetic Ring Holder for MagSafe– My husband got this one. Its similar to mine but mine has a double ring that expands
RhinoShield Case– My husbands phone decided one day it just no longer wanted to be alive so he had to replace it. He needs a strong case too and this is great and simple and sleek looking
ADHD hack, put chargers in every room so you never have to find one. These UGREEN PD 3.0 100W Fast Charging USB C Cables are great and affordable.
Evil 3.0 | Pre-workout – this is our preworkout powder of choice in Europe. Its the best tasting one we have found so far
Ninabella Detangling hair brush– My Wetbrush died and I decided to try another brand. It is lightweight and works great. It has a lot of good reviews too.
100% pure cold-pressed castor oil– I’ve been using this on my brows, lashes, scalp, and rough spots to help hair growth and soften skin.
RSTYLE Poly Kit – I started doing my own nails. I got this kit and am learning. Its been challenging but I am getting much better at it! Its way more affordable than going to the salon.
Setting up the apartment has been a process but its slowly getting there. Just a reminder that I will receive a small commission on these links, its how I keep my blog going. But they are all products I have and use.
